a bit about me and the site
the return of creative expression
It's a grand time to get into making your own website- I've seen the recent influx of indie website movement. I love it! In an AI-slop era, seeing human creativity and expression is so refreshing. And if you are thinking of it, it's now easier than ever to just teach yourself anything and be creative. I'm hoping this movement sparks life in many!
I like programming and art
You might inspect the code of this website and say it's messy, but I say... it's cool. It's mine. and it works 😂 I chose to study computer science in college to make video games, purely because I loved how you can make your own worlds and tell stories through code and art. Same stuff here. College was kind of rough because it forced me to think logically all the time, rather than be creative, but I'm glad I got over that hill and learned all the technical stuff. Now that I'm free to code up whatever I want, the sky's the limit. Hoping to unleash all my creativity on this website!
playful and tangible
If you look around you, everything was made by someone- the 3d model of your water bottle, the way your phone downloads something over the wifi, the design on your t shirt. With tech these days just on screens we don't really notice these things all the time. I hope this website can express some of that homemade playfulness and fun back into everyday things.
life at your own pace
it's easy to get lost in the floods of information on social media and the like. that's why I love coming here, to my own space, as well as other neocities users' pages. it's very personal, very calming. you might tell I like reflection a lot. im very introspective. I hope I can give you a bit of that here. thanks for coming.
the wondrous
It's a common saying, to "see the fun in everyday things" but to me, *The Wondrous* is more than that- and more than 'childlike wonder'. It's about the magical, mystical presence. The things that help you see in a new light:
- believing that bright light is a star, not an airplane
- the mounds of chocolate powder you poured in your milk glass look like sand dunes
- it's a bunny that darted across the street you walk along
The magic that is always there no matter how hard you try to convince yourself it's not. It's magical and mysterious, elusive and simple. It's hope. The wondrous is anything you want it to be, waiting to be found in everything. Only that, it's up to you to see it.

- My first video game is Yoshi's Island on the Gameboy SP. Kinda sparked my love and passion for creativity.
