a warm welcome

Hello. 💙

Whatever brought you here- destiny, crossed paths, Cara, or I shared my QR code with you, I hope this website gives you a lil bit more insight on who I am as a person and my mission. 🫡

your true self

Like many others, I'm sick of social media bombarding me with random information, changing my emotions left and right. I loved making websites (and many other coding-involved things) since I was a kid, so I figured I gotta make that little dude happy. It's a grand time to get into making your own website, as I've seen the recent influx of indie website movement, after finding out about Neocities on a post of a Patreon artist I'm subscribed to. It's now easier than ever to just teach yourself anything and be creative. I'm hoping this movement sparks life in many- for people to be their true selves rather than what the world tells them to be. Power to the people, right?

my journey with logic and art

As you may find out later, I'm a graduate of a computer science program from a T100 uni. And you might inspect the code of this website and say it "looks like crap". Yes. I know. That's the point. Art has given me a safe space, unboundless freedom, a vast environment where I'm comfortable to be my quirky, wierd, creative self. I chose computer science as my college major because I loved game development and wanted to make games. I will spare the details but college forced me to use the left side of my brain, with all the logic and algortihms and code quality and whatever, neglecting my right side, my creative side, the one thing that makes me feel 'alive'. Coding for something you hate (homework, job stuff) sucks.. At least for this website, I can use my knowledge for the one thing I'm sure motivated for- art.

Philosophy

I believe we are all capable of more than we were made for, or what we think we are now. The only things stopping us from achieving our dreams and aspirations are external things that have held us back, pushed us down, internalized in ourselves when we didn't even realize it. It's like the only thing keeping you from who you want to be is yourself.
